Society for the Study and Protection of birds of Serbia invites interested parties to field training for recognition of birds in the vicinity of Novi Sad, Belgrade and Čačak.

On Friday, 21/03/2014 a lecture on "Measures for Sustainable Habitat of Great Bustard" was held in Mokrin.

The Provincial Institute for the Protection of Nature on Thursday 13 March of 2014 held the lecture on the topic: Stop poisoning of birds of prey. The lecture was held by Marko Tucakov - ornithologist, Associate in the Provincial Institute. This lecture is part of the eco-campaign conducted by the Provincial Institute, which is co-financed by the City Administration for Environmental Protection, of the City of Novi Sad.

14. February in Mokrin, a meeting was held devoted to the current state of the Special Nature Reserve "Pastures of great bustard" and possibilities for improving the management and protection of population of Great Bustard in the future.

Consultative meeting of NGOs for the Protection of Birds was held in Belgrade on 6. February.

In a snowy Saturday morning, on 25th of January, just before the annual assembly of the Association for the Protection of Great Bustard, members of the association recorded in their field diary seeing 9 bustards at the site Vajlerka.

Körös-Maros National Park located in the southeastern part of Hungary, is a haven for 1,200 individuals of Great Bustard.
