The Association for the Protection of Great Bustard is a non-government and non-profit organization, established for an indefinite period of time in order to achieve the objectives in the field of nature protection and conservation.

The objectives of the association are: the protection of great bustard population, protection and enhancement of habitat in the Special Nature Reserve "Pastures of great bustard," educating the local population about the importance of conservation and habitat protection, organization of activities for the rehabilitation of affected areas, advocacy for changing habits regarding the use and storage of natural resources in terms of dealing with toxic and waste materials, preservation of tradition and the development of rural tourism.
