Members of the Society for the Protection of Great Bustard attended the three-day workshop for protection of the european roller (Coracias garrulus) in SNR "Ludaško jezero" from 19th till 21st July. The workshop was organized by the Association of Nature Lovers "Riparia" and the Society for the Study and Protection of birds of Serbia.

The workshop was attended by a large number of professionals, nature lovers and young people who have had the opportunity to undergo theoretical and practical training to protect the europen roller.

In the practical part the students had the opportunity to make birdhomes designed specifically for the europen roller, and set birdhouses on a predetermined location.

Also done is ringing of the cubs found in the cavity that was also raised by Association Nature Lovers "Riparia" with friends.
